For some reason, Blogger is not letting me upload screenshots, saying I have no right because they are from Club Penguin.  This has made it pretty much impossible to blog party updates.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Announcement: Party is Coming Soon!

It's in the newspapers... The Earth Day Party is coming April 21!  So turn green and buy those recycling shirts, because it's gonna be awesome!

Club Penguin has already announced that there will be new outfits based on endangered species that need help.  There will be a Snow Leopard costume and an African Painted Dog costume. I can't wait!

Club Penguin has also announced that Rockhopper will be attending... via telescope, you can see his ship!

There will be an Easter Scavenger Hunt on April 21st as well, so be ready for a lot of fun!

In other news,  a new pin will be hidden on April 21st. And it's been rumored that the EPF will be up to a lot on that day too...

So yeah, I tell you about Club Penguin, and about Club Freeze.  But an emailer has asked me, "What about you, Tjcb8? What is your penguin history?"  So maybe I should tell you a bit about my journey on Club Penguin.

So anyway, it was 1481 days ago when I joined Club Penguin.  That is a very long time ago.  In fact, I have almost all of the items in Club Penguin that are considered "Rares" (sadly, I don't have the beta hat.)  and I even have a few rare furniture items (If you call a few between 10 and 20.)  So here's me wearing some rares :)

I joined Club Penguin because my friends (You know them as Abbado15 and Awesome 94) persuaded me.  And yes, I was quickly addicted, though I've been playing on and off, always going to different games like Runescape and such.

I remember when there was no Forest or Cove, and I remember when there was no such thing as Card Jitsu and that the Dojo used to be perfect for snowball fights.  I remember when there was no Aqua Grabber and Hydro Hopper was called Ballistic Biscuit.  I remember when there were no yellow puffles.

So anyway, there's a blast from the past for some people.  And others have no idea what I'm talking about.

But anyway, I've been through a lot.  I must have earned thousands of coins.  But I've seen the bad side of Club Penguin:  Money Makers and Hackers, the recent mean non-members who believe they're better than members (not saying they aren't, but please stop yelling at us to leave the room)  and of course, those who are just plain mean.  I'm not afraid to say I've reported at least 100 people. 

So there's a little backstory.  Tried not to drag on about my life.

Freezin' Fools!

Here's my April Fools 2011 Club Penguin Guide!  I don't have very much time to type right now, but I'll update it as I go!

First things first:  To the dock for a free item!  There's a giant easel that needs to be painted for your awesome item!  To paint it, throw snowballs!  The fastest way to throw snowballs is to not have your cursor in the chat box, press t, and click on the target.  T-Click! T-Click! T-Click!  If it takes too long, get some penguin pals to help you paint a masterpiece!

Your reward is this stylin' purple hat!  Purple is a silly color and it's my favorite, so you know I'm going to wear this everywhere!  I have all the propeller hats and I hope you enjoy yours!

For members only, there is a pretty cool  scavenger hunt. To start, there will be a picture of a box near the moderator symbol, so click there now to begin the search!

The scavenger hunt takes place in the twisted and crazy Box Dimension, which is accessible from the Snow Forts. It's a magical purple box.  Can't miss it.

So go into the box dimension.   In the middle of the box dimension, you will find your first box piece in the middle of the room.  Click on it to continue.

Next it's time to explore the cacti.  Go to the room labeled by the cactus, the desert room. There will be a second box piece in the background to the right.  Click on it.

For the third box, go back to the "Box Dimension Directory" and travel to the Sketch World labeled by a pencil.  Go in and click on the blue pencil below the sketch pad.  A box piece will be drawn on the sticky note.

For Piece #4, you'll need to go back to the Box Dimension, and travel to Space World!  There will be a constellation.  Connect the stars with your mouse for the next piece.

Time to go back to that crazy box dimension again!  This time we're headed for the world marked by a jester's hat, the Silly Place!  The piece will be sitting on a cushion fit for a king :)

It's time to go to the room where up is down... let's go to the room marked by a staircase and click one of the box panels above on the ceiling.. or is it below on the ground??

Next to the room with marked by the barrel!  Trivia Q:  Who brought something pink and liquidy in one of these barrels a while back?  Your Answer:  Rockhopper, of course! Cream Soda :D

You'll be looking for a roll of tape.  It's at the end of the room in a cage.  This can be a little tricky, because you have to navigate a confusing maze!  Here's where to go:

If you're having trouble seeing the picture, try to understand me in words: right, left, left, right, referring to each group of barrels.

At last, we're finally done with this party puzzle!  Go to the box dimension and then go to the room marked by an ice cream cone.  It's the dessert dimension!  I had a little trouble finding this one at first.  You'll need to click on the spoon above the doughnuts sticking into the ice cream.  Click it, and it will eat a few bites.  Be patient and it will appear!

Click on the "Claim Prize" when the image comes up. Here's me modelin' my shiny new box!  No joke!  But that's not all!  Remember the sign that said "Boxes Only?"  Well, here we go!

You will enter a very strange place!  There will be a locker, so click on it.  A new outfit is inside! Get these items and try them on!

Freezin' Lounge

Club Penguin finally decided to give the lounge a whole new look, and that's made all the difference!  Here's my screenshot, with colors labeling what I think is pretty cool :)

Red-  A window peeking into the dance place... sadly it always has dancing penguins even if the place is empty below.  But nice feature :)
Yellow- The new arcade game, Bits and Bolts!  An entire guide for this game is coming soon!
Purple-  Hmm?  What's this? A machine for a future game perhaps?   We'll have to be on our lookout!
Black- The coolest part of the lounge of all!  Just kidding with you guys, though I am pretty awesome.
Green-  Now, this is my fave.  It's an activity where you can fire snowballs at targets!  Very competitive, and no one has beat me yet.
Blue-  Thin Ice, I love you!  Thin Ice is my favorite arcade game in the lounge so far.  I'm pretty good and I can get through the non-member levels without missing a money-bag.  I'll never forget Thin Ice.
Orange-  It's AstroBarrier of course.  And I am no good at this game, but I love the graphics, it's like stepping into an old arcade game.  :)

SO SO SO SORRY GUYS!!

I got really caught up in the school year and I've been overloaded with homework!  Don't worry, this penguin is going to make a comeback!

I was thinking of changing the name of the site to Club Freeze instead of Club Arctic. I kind of like that name better and the site needs a change.

So, here's hoping for longevity of the site!

P.S.:  I'm no longer a member, but I will still tell about member features in as much detail as I can!  And here is my non-member outfit, made up of some items I bought with Club Penguin toys, and some old items from parties and such.

Party Comes to an End :(

Today's the last day for the Holiday Party, so if you didn't get the free item at the Ski Lodge, send holiday postcards to your friends (and possibly get a hat in return), or look at the decor, be sure to do so! I hope you guys had a good holiday.

So, I was wondering, how many coins did you donate? So far, I've donated around 11,300 coins since I'm a non-member and I don't have much to buy. I'm trying to play more today and earn more money! I'm donating my coins toward medical help. I love helping people in any way I can!

This reminds me of something that happened last year. I knew this penguin (no names here), he lives near me in real life, and he had around 40,000 coins, and he earned every one of them, no money cheats or anything. He was a nonmember so he didn't spend a single coin. He refused to donate to Coins for Change, even though he was so profitable. After lecturing him and calling him Scrooge, he still refused. So I got on his account and donated ever coin he had. He was really mad though, so I don't suggest you do what I did. But after a while, I think he had a change of heart.

Oh, I'm sorry, am I rambling on? :)

In Arctic News, I'm working on the site. If there's any suggestions for me, comment them.

Im Back.

I know I said I quit. But I've returned. And this may not be the site it once was, but here we go, maybe it still has a little future ahead. Though it's going to change.

I'm sorry to say that I have quit Club Penguin. This may come as a shock to some of you. To others you may have suspected it. However, that does not mean this blog is going to disappear. It will stay for all to enjoy, even if it won't be updated.

Medevial Party!

Sorry about not blogging earlier, but last week was really busy. Anyway, let me tell you about free items!

Everyone can get this wizard hat!

There's a shield pin at the Cove for everyone too!

Members can go shopping at the market, aka the gift shop! It's very decorated. Open up the medevial catalog for shields, a lute, a torc, and tabards! Open the Penguin Style catalog for even more items!

Now, what you've all been waiting for... the member's only quests!

The quest from last year has returned, so if you missed it, here's your tutorial.  The items have changed this time and are different!

Challenge 1: Light up all the orbs! This is rather simple. Just step on the switches!

Challenge 2: Hit the targets! Shoot snowballs at targets. The fastest way to do it is to press the t key and click over and over on targets as fast as you can. Here's a picture of a target.

Be sure to pick up this item:

Challenge 3 is a bit, um, challenging! When starting, be sure to get a helmet before starting the maze!

Now, here is what path to go in: Down, then Left, then Down, then right, right again, then up!

You'll get to the last room. Be sure to get the last piece of the shadow armor!

Now, for the harder quest. In the first room, snow must beat fire. Use snow to make the torches go out. It's a bit hard and you'll probably need help from some friends. Here's a picture of an unlit torch.

Next go on to the second room. You will have to slide the key block to the locked door block by clicking on the arrows around the key block. I cannot help with this. Apparently the puzzle is different every time you see it, so I can' t give a walkthrough.

After that, waddle to the third room. There isn't a puzzle here, but get the free horse!

Go to the fourth room. YOU WILL HAVE TO DEFEAT A DRAGON! (finally, Club Penguin adds some violence!!! lol) Read this poster and it tells you how to defeat Mr. Beast.

Follow these instructions to slay the dragon!

Afterwards, a door will open and you'll be taken to the last room, a treasure room.

Get the toothbrush pin near the free item, which is...

A furniture item! What's really cool is you can get as much gold as you want, just back up and get more! Go to where the free sign is!

Be sure to look out for the princess in the purple dress (purple's a good color, you know!)
