Permanent instruments in the lighthouse!!

Should have told you this sooner: you know how at the Music Jam, you could go to the lighthouse and actually hear yourself playing an instrument? Club Penguin is going to make it that eventually that will be permanent. It'll happen it a bit less than a week from now, so keep checking!

Music Jam is over, but music isn't, so keep playing those instruments!

By the way, I'm sorry about not making funny pictures. I was so busy, I only made two pictures. I will show them tomorrow. So very sorry!!

Writing Contest and Color News

The writing contest will begin this Thursday! If you don't know how to enter, read the Penguin Times that comes out the same day. There is usually three themes, and I already know what one is! Hiking Vikings! So be sure to get paper and pen and begin writing!
Not only that, we will begin voting on a new color on Friday! VOTE LAVENDER! There will be a voting booth too... usually we vote in the newspaper or on the "what's new" blog except for Penguin Play Awards...

My first party!

It wasn't as good as I suspected, but then again, what did I expect, a million people? Thanks to all the people who went to the party! The people in the screenshot were NOT all the people who came.This is about the end of the party.

Holding sled on an inner tube glitch

This is a members-only glitch. In your free time, try it for fun.

1. Get on Club Penguin and go to the Ski Hill.

2.Buy a sled if you dont have one already.

3.DON'T wear the sled and go sit on an inner tube on one of the slopes.

4.Put on your sled. You will be on an inner tube holding a sled!

MUSIC JAM!!!!!

The music jam party started today and it is awesome! Be sure to check out everything!! There are headphones you can get at the cove!

Members only,There is a t-shirt stand at the snow forts (Which is now battle of the bands) where you can get t-shirts and a backstage pass. With the backstage pass, you can go into the backstage area at the dock and the upstairs (NOT the lounge.)

There is a catalog in the backstage room and there is a free item for members. Be sure to check it out!

New Penguin Color!!

From July 24th-29th, we will vote for a new penguin color! The color choices are maroon,lavender,and aqua.

It has been almost three years since the last new color. It was a vote between lavender and lime green. I think it's cool that they are giving lavender a second chance! I am voting lavender! What will you vote? I want to know, so please comment!

Top 5 Stupid things on Club Penguin(Tjcb8's Opinion)

Nothing new on Club Penguin today, so I thought I'd tell you about stupid things on Club Penguin! If you don't agree with any of this, that's okay. This is my opinion.
5.My puffle ran away! Oh no!"Why doesn't Club Penguin just come out and say:"Bad news: Puff has died." Because if you say it ran away or went on a vacation, some little kid might think their little furball will come back soon. But then they get disappointed when it doesn't. Better yet, why not make it where they don't run away or die, they just get sick or something and you have to buy medicine?
4.Wigs. That's all I have to say. Everyone was fine without a wig, now everyone HAS to wear one. Let's face it, I think penguins look ugly in wigs, but I just wear my wig because everyone else does. And isn't that teaching little kids that you should do what's popular, and not be creative or an individual? Excuse me, I'm putting on my earmuffs.
3. Tipping the iceberg is probably number three to me. Let's face it, you can't tip the iceberg. Everyone just makes screenshots and edits it with "Paint." Everyone spends all their time trying to tip it and it's never been tipped once. And the rewards you can get are either obviously fake or have been made by club penguin recently, such as the yellow or white puffle belief. So why don't we just stop trying? I guess it is a little fun though...
2. Where did penguins get all the cloth to make clothes? Where to they grow wheat to make pizza dough? Where do they make candy? See, Club Penguin is a bit unrealistic. I guess it's supposed to be, but couldn't they at least add a wheat farm or a sugar cane farm or make some real sheep, not the Fairy Fables Costume? Is it that hard?
1.And, the number 1 spot goes to (drumroll) THE EGGTIMER!!!! The eggtimer is a time that allows parents to set how long you play club penguin if they have a parent account. An error message will pop and and tell you that your egg timer is out. You can press learn more and then it will list other activities such as going outside.

This is my opinion, which means if you don't agree, that's alright.

Puffles Walk on Walls Cheat

This is a member only cheat. To get your puffles to walk on walls, do the following:
1. Get on Club Penguin.

2.Go to the pet shop and get some puffles.

3. Go to your igloo.

4. The puffles will walk around the igloo. When they are at the highest, farthest part of the igloo, go to your Igloo Upgrades catalog.

5. Upgrade, or should we say, downgrade, to the smallest igloo possible. (You weren't in a tiny little igloo in the first place, were you?)

6.Watch as your puffles are on the walls or maybe even outside your igloo!

If you have any questions, or if this doesn't work, comment about it!

Please note that this may be a slight waste of Club Penguin coins for you. But, if you really want to see your puffles on walls, go ahead. I can't stop you.

Music Jam Updates

The Music Jam party will begin July 17th and ends the 26th. If you waddle around the island you will see that there is construction going on...

I don't know all the stuff that will be different or all that will be the same, but I know that it will be as good as last year's. There will be Music VIP passes for members like last year, though, and some of the same bands!

Remember the Penguin Tales contests? If you don't, they are contests that you get to write stories for. The contest will start July 23th to August 5th, so be sure to write a story!

Where's the ruby, Ruby?

I just posted funny pictures and forgot to tell you how to get the ruby pin! In order to get it, you need to follow the script very closely. I will save you some trouble and tell you how to get it.First go to the desk and open the office shelves to find an important folder.

The script says that Ruby saw someone throw it into the bin. Click on the trash can. Is the ruby there? No, and if you keep reading the script it says Hammer checked and it wasn't there. But you still need to click it and check.

If you are reading the script, Ruby is arranging the flowers in the lobby. You need to check under the vase, but first you need to sign the guestbook.Hammer finds paper under the vase. It has numbers written on it, but you can't read the numbers. Penguins can't read anyway. But now you know that they are hidden in a safe!

There's a safe behind a picture frame! Open the safe and get the pin!

Hidden Stuff in Catalog!

Here is the hidden stuff in the catalog:

Click on the piano for the red viking helmet! You can close out the red viking helmet, click the piano again, and keep doing that until the blue viking helmet shows up!

Go to the next page, and click on the seashell for the canteen!

Click on the word "Penguins" in "Penguins at Work" for the Crystal Staff!

On the next page, click the fourth window for the woodsman's hat.

Go the next page and click on the dragon shadow behind the staircase. You can buy the blue dragon costume.

Click on the first "C" in "Clearance" for the black graduation cap.

New Pin

The newest pin is the Japanese Lantern pin! They made it because of the new ninja item! The pin is at the underground pool. Be sure to get it!

If you don't know about the underground pool, I will give directions to it.

The easiest way is to go to the plaza and down the manhole. The second way is to go to the dance club, into a speaker to the boiler room, and in the door. The third way is going to the Mine and into the cave-like area.

Dance game guide

The dance game is one of the newer games. This is the location. Cadence the DJ runs the game. It reminds me of an awful Guitar Hero game with Club Penguin music, but I like playing it and is very popular. You can also walk your purple pullfe into the game and it will dance! Sadly my purple puffle ran away... Here is a picture of Cadence on the dance game.

For those who haven't played, you play by pressing the arrow keys on your keyboard when the arrows line up with the little arrow boxes.
Hitting a lot of arrows in a row is called a combo. Doing combos can get you lots of points. You will do special dances if you get up to 25, 50, or 100 arrows in a row. Cadence will also be on the side and there will be a picture that says "(25,50,or 100) Combo!"

I'm not showing you the special dances for each combo. That spoils too much (and it's hard to take a screenshot of).

Here are some tips and cheats:

CHEATS:

1. When you go into solo mode, pick your song, and Cadence asks for what level you want, click on her face and she will ask you if you are sure you want expert mode. Say yes. This is how to get expert mode on solo mode. On easy,medium,and hard, the notes are always the same for that level, but on expert the notes are always different. On other levels you can memorize parts of it, but not with expert. Also, the notes on expert move much faster so you have to be quick.

2. As I said at the beginning of this post, purple puffles can join the game! I can't get a screenshot, mine ran away... But you will get some extra points as your purple puffle dances along. It's very cool.

If I missed a cheat, please post a comment!

TIPS:

1. Do not be distracted! Being distracted will make you miss notes. Keep concentrated.

2.Hold the long notes for as long as you can but don't miss the other notes. This gets lots of points.

3. When you are doing good and you have a good combo, the lights will often be crazy. Read tip #1. Stay focused, and don't freak out.

4. The harder the level, the more notes and the faster the game. Only play what you can do. If you can do hard, go for it! If you can't, you can try but you probably won't get many coins.

Club Arctic Freeze

I learned how to make screenshots! FINALLY! Here is my igloo!! Cool, right? Soon I will update some of my older posts with my own screenshots!

For others making Club Penguin websites, this is how to make a screenshot. It may be different on your computer, if this doesn't seem to work on your computer, go to a different site for help.

1.Log on Club Penguin (or other site) and find what you want to take a picture of.

2. Find the key on your keyboard that says,"Print Screen". It may be abbreviated.

3. Go to paint , go to edit, and press paste.

4. Now you need to crop the size and get only what you want to be a picture. This is hard to explain, so try a different site for more information.

5.Save the picture as a PNG .

6. Put it on your blog!

101 Days of fun

On Club Penguin's newspaper, there is a page called 101 Days of Fun. There are activities to do each day. If Club Penguin sees you doing these things, they add 1001 coins to your account. But this doesn't happen very often.
On my site you can see which activity is for the current day. Today the activity is going to the French servers and saying hello in French, which is bonjour! Be sure to keep checking this site for updates!
